Over night, I switched over the blog enging for 365Dude.nl Where I recently used Wordpress as a CMS, I changed to a static HTML based site using Jekyll, hosted from an Azure Storage blob, served through Azure CDN.
This change not only really simplifies the backend (and increases security), but it also gives me the ability to serve my site over HTTPS, using the SSL-certificate provided by the Azure CDN.
Warning: Stuff may be broken
Due to the change from HTTP to HTTPS, some of the inline images or links in older blogposts might be broken. I’m in the process of reviewing and correcting all my older blogposts to get this fixed, but it might take some time. So, if you run in to something, check back again soon (or let me know if you urgently need some information).
A blogpost describing the new setup of my blog will be published once I got rid of some of the backlog on older blogposts that need rewriting.
